People keep telling me, “I don’t know how you do it. How you went from no kids to three kids”. Truth is you just make it work. You just do it. You get up and handle what’s in front of you, one task, one tantrum, one snack, one load of laundry at a time.
Today started with breakfast, brushing hair, getting everyone dressed, and surviving the morning meltdowns before daycare drop-off, school drop-off, and heading to work. Then came school pickup, daycare pickup, playtime, dinner, homework, bath times, teeth brushing, and meltdowns one, two, three, and four. Somewhere in between, two beds got washed, two loads of laundry got done, the kitchen and dining room got swept and mopped, the dishes are running, and now the kids are dead asleep.
Some days it’s chaos, some days it’s beautiful, and most days it’s both. But somehow, we make it work. One thing is certain we for sure couldn’t do any of it without one another and our incredible support system. ❤️
